Ella is a Global health and development practitioner, working to strengthen systems in resource-constrained settings. She possesses 5+ years of experience garnered in public, private, non-profit, research, and educational institutions across Africa & Europe. She executes projects from the ground up using well-researched data, sustainable planning, strategic partnerships, & advocacy.
Her expertise includes high-impact programs, multi-location project management, resource mobilization, fundraising, grant management, stakeholder management, partnerships, community mobilization, policy, advocacy, & impact assessment.
She currently leads programs at www.slum2school.org where she has designed and led globally acclaimed programs (including Africa’s first virtual classroom, GPE Continuing Learning Program, & Global Campaign for Education) with a collective impact of over 500,000 children & youths across underserved communities in Southern & Northern Nigeria.
She is passionate about health system strengthening, sustainable financing for development, social determinants of health (gender, poverty, and religion), diaspora engagement for development, participatory research, education development, patient, community participation, innovation, technology, and the SDGs (Health tech and Ed-tech), & human capital development.
Ella’s ultimate goal is to have a global career, leading exciting interventions and innovations that transform nations and solve long-standing challenges. She is open to global opportunities in global health, research, consulting, speaking & writing.
Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, hosting, foodie adventures, painting, hackathons, and traveling (19/36 Nigerian states, 3/7 continents). She is also an international speaker & prolific writer.
